ABOUT

Katya Sadoff is a photographer and printmaker from Boulder, CO. In 2020, she received her BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Sadoff’s work explores how the feelings of comfort, belonging, and false nostalgia, in relation to "home", change over time. Her desire for the preservation of her perception of home and her affinity towards it is largely influenced by the multitude of times she had to move while growing up. She has been a recipient of the SAIC merit scholarship from 2016 through 2020. Her work has been featured in The StateView Hotel - Autograph Collection, Gene Siskel Theater, and the Chicago Art Book Fair. She has also completed an artist residency at Kriti Gallery in Varanasi, India.
